1. GUARANTEED ENDURANCE NEXT TO THE SEA

Most solar water heaters are manufactured with black or painted sheet metal, materials that corrode and have a short life span, especially in areas close to the sea. The MEGASUN storage tank has an exterior polygonal casing made from anodized Aluminium, which is extremely durable to ultraviolet rays, in humid climates, and in coastal areas.

2. THE MEGASUN DOES NOT FREEZE

The advanced design of the sealed jacket around the storage tank in the closed system of the MEGASUN Solar Water Heater guarantees the operation of the system in freezing conditions, and also secures the collectors against corrosion and from interior clogging.

3. MEGASUN SECURES MORE HOT WATER IN THE WINTER

The strong polyurethane insulation with 50mm thickness and high density ( 40 Kg/m³ ) guarantees the consumer more hot water for use even when the temperature outside is -30º C.

4. DOUBLE LIFE SPAN

The metallic storage tank of MEGASUN is 3mm thick and is made according to DIN 4800-5. That means the tank is twice as resistant to high-pressure water supply networks than most ordinary solar water heaters.

5. GUARANTEED ENDURANCE OF STORAGE TANK FROM HARD WATER

The inside of the storage tank is protected against corrosion by DuroSmalt. This unique method of protection is considered the most successful for its resistance to the hardest water and its elasticity enables it to follow the expansions and contractions of the tank, eliminating the risk of cracks that are created in most other storage tanks that use other processes of enamelling.

6. HOT WATER EVEN WITH CLOUDS

All MEGASUN units have an auxiliary heating element with an adjustable thermostat to ensure your hot water supply in cloudy days. This electrical resistance, can be fitted with a tube exchanger (upon a special request) which can be connected to the Central Heating System and which can be activated in days of prolonged cloud cover, achieving in this way the saving of energy up to 85%.

7. THE MEGASUN SOLAR COLLECTORS HAVE TRIPLE DURABILITY

Most solar collectors due to flaws in their design do not have air holes, allowing in moisture to accumulate inside the collector due to the difference in temperature, especially in wet climates. This results in the corrosion of the absorber. The profile of the MEGASUN collector is designed in such a way so as to keep the 4 air holes completely water tight and at the same time do not allow the entrance of rain water.

8. THE MEGASUN REACTS BETTER

Only the MEGASUN collector is manufactured with copper channels, which fasten tightly with special clips (20 meters) all along the copper surface of the absorber. With this unique method the heat transfer is achieved completely allowing the MEGASUN to have a more effective collector.

10. STEADY PERFORMANCE WITHOUT HEAT LOSSES

The double insulation made from 40mm thick rock wool and 20mm thick fiberglass insulation that is placed on the sides, secure the high performance and minimize the heat losses from the MEGASUN collector.

11. SECURITY AND RELIABILITY

In most countries of the world, all solar collectors have unbreakable glass to withstand hale and prevent any accidents. The MEGASUN collector has a special Tempered Glass (3.5mm thick), following the strict International safety rules.

12. SUPERB DESIGN AND EASY INSTALLATION

The excellent outer design of the unit along with the well designed support base, allow for the easy and adjustable installation of the unit on top of tiled or any other type of roofs. Moreover, the side coverings of the collector protect the connection pipes from the ultraviolet rays and offer at the same time a nice aesthetic look that could be incorporated in every architectural building design.
